As regular visitors to raincoatreviews.com know, I like Asian babes, so when this feature arrived from Elegant Angel, I was anxious to take a look.  This movie features seven Asian starlets, only two of which show up on the radar often. The director on board is T.T. Boy, but no mention of this is on the box.  In case some of you don't know, T.T. Boy is a male porno actor who has been around quite awhile and of late has become somewhat controversial for his aggressive fucking style.

SCENE ONE

DVD SPECIFIC COMMENTS

Asian Mania contains the basic features of a DVD, but not many extras.  The menu contains five choices:  play, chapter menu, photo gallery, trailers and Internet.  From the "Chapter" menu, the viewer can jump directly to five chapter stops on the disc.  I counted twelve photos in the photo gallery.  There are about ten minutes of previews included from other Elegant Angel releases  (Femania 2, Filthy Attitudes, and Turnabout).  If you press "Internet", it doesn't take you to the Elegant Angel web sit, the "How Hot Does it Get" commercial plays.  

The picture quality for the disc was good.  On my computer monitor, the picture quality did not appear to be overly grainy or exhibit any significant flaws.  The focus was good, but not razor sharp. Color saturation was good.  As mentioned in the review, at times, the contrast was too high in the background and details were washed out.  Adjusting the brightness helped a little, but could not correct the problem entirely.  Sound quality was good.  

I noticed a few minor technical glitches when playing this DVD on my computer using WinDVD v2.3.  When I pressed play, for the first time, I was often taken to the photo gallery, not the main menu.  This was also true when I pressed "Stop" at times. I experienced some minor problems with the photo gallery.  In WinDVD, navigating through the photos with the arrow icons sometimes caused the image to jump from half screen to full screen size and then back again.  

At this time, I did not test the disc in my Sony stand alone DVD player (model 560). 

CONCLUSION

First the good news.  Asian Mania delivers the goods for guys who lust after Asian booty.  There's seven wild and willing Asian starlets here and every one of them gets put through the paces by T.T. Boy.

Although I don't have strong feelings about T.T. Boy either way, I don't want to see him in every scene.  He just doesn't have the charisma of someone like Rocco or unique point of view of a guy like Max Hardcore.  As a result, he simply can't carry a show.  Plus, the unique things he does do, only tended to irritate me, such as choking every girl with his hands and his constant barking to "look at me."  A lot of T.T. mannerisms seem solely intended for his pleasure, without regard to the viewers.  

If you can get past the T.T. issues, there is some good stuff here.  However, this tape is not pure raincoater fare.  Anal sex only pops up in two scenes, and since this is the "Pure T.T. Show" in some respects, DP was not even possible.  In fact, I would even say this video is mostly suitable for couples except for the choking and slapping antics.

Hopefully, this will become a series, and future installments will address these concerns.  There's a serious shortage of American produced porn featuring Asian hotties.
