Synopsis

Frank Bukkwyd (in a non-sex role) plays the part of a sleazy Senator who likes to watch young, nubile lesbians go at it.  Bukkwyd has his eyes on the Presidency, but his campaign is in serious trouble.  It appears that Bukkwyd has some skeletons in the closet regarding his daughter Kira.  Bukkwyd is so worried about a leak, he feels vulnerable to ransom demands.  Bukkwyd alleges he doesn't know where Kira is and hasn't talked her to her for years, but reporter Steven St. Croix doesn't think this passes the smell test.  St. Croix decides to use his investigative skills to track Kira down.  It doesn't take long before St. Croix discovers that Kira used to work as a dancer, but now is a patient in a mental asylum.  St. Croix slips inside the facility and continues his probing for the truth. 

What's Hot

Kira!  Kira is my favorite Vivid girl right now, and not only because she is Asian.  She has a great onscreen presence, looks hot and performs with mucho energy.  Plus, she has a kinky side, although it doesn't come out in this feature.

The production qualities are very high.  The scenes are well lit and the camera work by Ganz and Robbie D. is very professional.  The sound quality is fine also.  Director Tommy Ganz and Robbie D. successfully create a creepy, but erotically charged atmosphere.  If this were a Hollywood feature, I could imagine M. Night Shyamalan directing this, with Michael Douglas as the Senator and Bruce Willis as Worm. 

What's Not

This feature has a very short running time which makes me wonder why Part 1 and (the anticipated) Part 2 wasn't combined on one long feature?

The sex itself is fine, but vanilla.  Hardly anything to appeal to raincoaters. 

The white cotton underwear outfits worn by Kira the other girls in the asylum are somewhat true to the theme of the movie, but not the most sexy I could imagine.  Also, an asylum always gives producers a legitimate excuse to work some bondage themes and related fetish outfits in, but nothing like that is found here.  Not even any sexy nurses.

The boxcover quote ("The Marquis de Sade has a new pen pal") may be titillating but seems unrelated to the content or themes of the movie. 

Play By Play

Below is a brief blow by blow account of the sex scenes:

This is a good choice for couples who enjoy mainstream mystery, intrigue & thriller movies.  It's also of interest to Kira fans -- she performs in two scenes but a long shower tease.  Raincoaters may feel frustrated with this movie.  Personally, I enjoyed the story here and I'm waiting to find out what happens in Part II.  I hope that Kira reneges on her deal with St. Croix and this time forces him to be really nasty with her before she gives him the scoop.
