Review
This feature has an interesting and unusual story premise. Kira plays the role of a pregnant woman who is in the hospital and about to give birth. However, she harbors a lot of resentment towards Dad (Eric Masterson). She even wishes for a girl, just to spite her husband. As the hospital staff wheels her around and prepares her for the delivery, viewers can hear her thoughts about events in her life, mostly involving her problematic relationship with her husband. Dad is detached from what is going on. He's too busy filming everything with his HandyCam. From time to time the viewer experiences moments in Kira's life through flashbacks, which serve as the set up for each scene.
Thus, in scene one we see Kira making love to her (then) boyfriend, presumable on the occasion when she gets preggy. Nice handjob action before fast action reverse cowgirl followed by mish. Scene two is hubby's bachelor party (a set up for a lesbian scene with a blond & brunette in cheerleader garb with the guys watching on). The girls (Taylor St. Claire & Allysin Chaynes) break out modest sized dildos, and the brunette inserts it in her butt. Scene three is a flashback to when hubby was a bad boy and fooled around with hotty April. Hubby has that damm camera again, but April looks great posing for it. A sex romp follows. April delivers a great POV BJ and then on camera doggy screwing and cowgirl. Cum shot on April's belly. Kira discovers the tape right after she throws up with morning sickness. Scene four features a guy with April again. In Scene five, Kira regrets being faithful and fantasizes about getting it on with another guy in the hospital while her husband records it. The guy fingers and eats Kira on the hospital exam table followed by a energetic BJ. Then a hot sequence where he pounds her from behind with one leg up on the table. Next he fucks Kira missionary style until he pulls out and shoots his wad on her tummy.
Does Kira's make it through the childbirth? Is the baby a boy or girl? Will her husband ever put down the "god damm video camera?" You'll have to rent or buy this movie to find out!
"Breathe" is highly recommended for couples. If there's such a thing as a "chick flick" in porn, this has to be it. The hospital setting during childbirth and first person "story" technique where Kira's character shares her private thoughts and memories was engaging. Although Kira's character was unpleasant in the sense she seemed to eat vinegar pie each morning, her bitter feelings were understandable. Kira's delivers a fine acting performance and smokes in her sex scenes. High production values abound and the hospital set is convincing.
